Eden Labradors is the home of beautifully bred and loved Labrador Retrievers. Here at Eden we strive to breed labs with great conformation and temperment. Our main goal is to improve the breed. Our Labradors come from primarily English/show lines with just the right mixture of hunting ability without sacrificing their conformation to the breed standard. They can do great in the show ring, in the field, and on the couch! We are a small kennel located in South Central Pennsylvania, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Our breeding stock's health is evaluated by testing and clearances, which includes (at minimum)their hips tested by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) or x-rayed before breeding. In addition, their eyes are ACVO vet cleared. We take these measures to help ensure our puppies are healthy and free of hereditary diseases. We are always very selective in pairing our breeding stock to ensure great quality and conformation in our dogs. We are actively preparing several of our labs for the show ring as well as competing in hunt tests with several of our dogs. All of our dogs hunt with my husband and I, as we are avid goose/duck hunters, however, we have hopes to title them as well.

Our puppies are raised in our home, in a healthy and clean environment, where they are given lots of love and attention. The puppies are dewormed 4 times, at 2, 3, 4 and 6 weeks of age. At 6 weeks of age they receive their first set of puppy shots are are thoroughly check by our veterinarian, Dr. Roger Horst of The Mercersburg Vet Clinic, Inc. Our puppies come with a written health & congenital defect guarantee, a 27 month hip & elbow warranty & 12 month eye warranty.

Most of our puppies are sold on Limited AKC Registration, which means they are registered and can still compete in all AKC events (with the exception of show), but breeding/showing rights are not granted. Breeding/Showing rights(full registration) are granted on an individual basis, and requires an additional fee. We do this to protect our Breeding/Showing lines and also to encourage people that want to breed to research how to breed properly, and for the best interest of the breed. This is a very common policy among responsible breeders. We are available any time to help with your decision and any questions you may have.

When people purchase puppies from us, our contact doesnt end when the puppy goes to its new home. We want what is best for our puppies. To ensure our puppies live a long and happy life, the new puppy owners can contact us for advice on raising and caring for their Labradors, from puppyhood to old age. Getting and caring for a puppy is a big responsibility. It can be a lot of work, but with love, training and caring you can enjoy a friendship like no other!
